Included in the April 1872 issue of Our Young Folks, an Illustrated Magazine for Boys and Girls, published in Boston, Massachusetts, by James R. Osgood and Company, is an article in the section entitled "Our Young Contributors" by Mary D. Priest, age 14, of Boston, Massachusetts.

Mary D. Priest, I believe, is Mary Durant Priest, born 11 January 1857 at Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of Jonas Heywood and Eunice (Durant) Priest, born in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, and Boston, Massachusetts respectively.
Mary's paternal grandparents were Josiah and Lydia (Heywood) Priest. Her maternal grandparents were William and Eunice (Campbell) Durant.
On 3 November 1881, Mary Durant Priest married Warren Kendall Blodgett, who had graduated from Harvard Law School earlier in 1881. The couple became noted citizens of Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Warren Kendall Blodgett was born 22 June 1855 at Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Warren Kendall Blodgett and wife Minerva Precinda "Minnie" (Paddock) Blodgett.
In a 1901 report of Harvard College, it was noted that Warren Kendall Blodgett had no children. Whether the couple had any children who died young, I don't know.
I lost track of the couple after the 1920 Census of Cambridge, Massachusetts.
